Music Video (Eye of the Tiger)
A class project in which we filmed a simple chase scene, learning how to establish continuity and establishing shots. The assignment originally called for just 12-13 shots. It wasn't until I was an hour into editing that I realized I had ended up with 30+ shots.
A class project where we were assigned "contentless" or "A/B" scenes; scenes with basic dialogue, but no context. I chose to film inside of a car, and learned about new lighting and sound equipment techniques.
A class project in which we were tasked with creating our own music video (licensed music was allowed). I chose to create the most cliche storyline possible, in order to add to the ridiculous premise. I learned how to sync video footage and audio, and how to keep quicker edits clean and dynamic.
